Ordinary ID cards can be copied easily. DESFire cards are encrypted and much harder to clone, which suits condos, corporate buildings and government sites. Use C3 Plus or InBio Pro Plus controllers with ZKTeco DESFire readers such as the ProID30BD and KR612D-RS.

Frequently Asked Questions
C3 Plus or InBio Pro Plus, which do I need?
C3 Plus handles card, QR code and password. Choose InBio Pro Plus if you also want fingerprint or face verification at the controller. Both come in 1-door and 2-door versions.
Can I control which floors people can reach in the lift?
Yes. The ZKTeco EC10 controls up to 10 floors. Add up to three EX16 extension boards for a total of 58 floors.
Can I keep using my existing staff cards?
Usually yes. ZKTeco readers come in ID (125 kHz) and Mifare (13.56 MHz) versions. Tell us your card type and we’ll match the reader.
What is DESFire and do I need it?
DESFire is an encrypted card that is much harder to copy than ID or Mifare cards. It suits sites where card cloning is a concern, such as condos, corporate buildings and government sites.
Does it work with turnstiles?
Yes. ZKTeco controllers and SenseFace terminals work with our ZKTeco and Virtuo turnstiles and swing barriers.
Do you supply to Sabah and Sarawak?
Yes. VSH Technology has a branch in Penampang, Sabah and supplies customers across East Malaysia.
